I realize there are laws in the U.K. that probably prohibit a hospital from keeping a patient against their will, but if there were ever a time to play renegade doctor it is NOW.

I just don't understand how any medical professional in their right mind would release Amy Winehouse (seen here exiting a London hospital on Tuesday with a bodyguard and a bag full of candy, following her collapse a night prior.)

This isn't f***ing Halloween people! This is a woman's life; a woman who is severely addicted to drugs!

Yesterday, none other than Brandy popped up in front of lenses looking fan-tast-ic.

After the turbulent year she's had, it's great to see her flashing that smile. 

Brandy is fine tuning her still-untitled fifth studio album (her first to be released on Epic Records), so hopefully we'll be seeing more of her (and her smile) in the not too distant future.

Incidentally, Sara has recently appeared on some episodes of CBS' The Big Bang Theory opposite the same guy who played her boyfriend on Roseanne, Johnny Galecki.

I have to hand it to Kelis...

I suspect she read my style note about her a while back and decided to one-up me with an even more obscene fashion statement.

We ran into the hip-hop artist wearing a pair of khaki drop-crotch harem pants that looked like an old sweatshirt converted into some Hammer pants that could have been worn in the movies Mad Max or Dune.  Her hair resembled a clown's wig as she also carried a big, discordant, neon-pink bag when she made her way through security at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday.

On a brighter note, I like her navy hoodie.

We caught up with cycle 10 winner Whitney Thompson on Monday going for a ride in New York's West Village. In full makeup and dressed to impress, the blonde lady was doing some of that modeling she learned on the show.

It's nice to see she is booking some gigs! I guess Top Model isn't a complete sham, after all.

Ever-so-busy former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari lands at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday.

She pulled her black pup out of its case and swung by the ATM before grabbing a cab at the curb.

Filming movies and hosting red carpet events, Cavallari recently said that she is too busy for a boyfriend.

Sorry to break it to you, dudes.

Amy Winehouse was just rushed to the hospital.

An ambulance, followed by several police cars, arrived at Winehouse's London home late Monday evening.  Shortly thereafter, the singer, wrapped in a red blanket and wearing an oxygen mask, was wheeled into an ambulance as her father Mitch looked on.

Amy had reportedly been convulsing and suffering multiple fits.

Get well, Amy.  What more can we say?
